THE SAGA OF NO NAME

Here are some photos of the Count along with me (being helped off the operating
table) and my friend as the ghoul. These photos were taken in 1963/64 when I
was a senior in high school. This was taken on the Count's original set where
the lamp from the ceiling added depth to the painted set.
When I went to college at LSU from September, 1964 to December, 1967, I was on
the Count's show every Tuesday and Thursday as No Name. The Chicken Diner
sponsored the Count on those two days and provided their chicken special to the
studio on those days. I would devour it on the set during the commercial. One
time the special was fried chicken gizzards...that was the first time I had to
eat gizzards (a little rubbery, but OK taste wise).
I recently made contact with another magician who knew Jay and he said that he
gave Jay the set of Merrill color changing knives that Jay would always carry
with him.
